What Is An Overbed Table?

Overbed Tables are commonly used within hospitals and nursing homes, but are being used more in homes as people are wanting to remain in their homes longer. Many people (like me) use Overbed Tables as Mobile Workstations, more commonly known as Laptop Tables. Overbed tables are sturdy adjustable tables that can be modified for use by individuals who have been confined to a bed for a period of time or those that like the ease of a mobile table within their homes. Typically, the table is constructed of metal and laminate pieces that make it easy to clean. Overbed tables are installed on casters or rollers, enabling the table to be moved easily.
